To archive an Instagram chat, you can follow these steps:
Open the Instagram app on your phone and go to your Direct Messages.
Find the chat that you want to archive.
Swipe left on the chat and tap on the "Archive" button.
The chat will be moved to your archived messages, which you can access by tapping on the archive icon (clock) at the top right corner of your Direct Messages.
If you want to unarchive the chat, find it in your archived messages, swipe left on it, and tap on "Unarchive".
Note: Archiving a chat will only hide it from your Direct Messages and not delete it. If you want to delete a chat permanently, swipe left on it, tap on "Delete", and confirm the action.
